An Unholy Dance

Each winter in Luzón, a small village in Castilla-La Mancha (Spain), an ancient ritual returns. Villagers covered in soot, adorned with horns and bells, move into the darkness to become devils. Shot on black-and-white Super 8, the film unfolds as a sensory experience in which image, sound, and music merge to evoke the trance of the rite.
