Spec-i-men

Spec-i-men is a AV track performed live and recorded in isolation by VJ Sustenance. Sustenance experiments with the sync and emergence of effects by layering and building a wall of audio-vision. Archival footage blends with the now to create a sporadic narrative that lies somewhere between music video and expanded cinema. Looking at COVID-19 in relation to history, she uses archival video footage blended with photos of immediate environment. Images are triggered and layered with effects, blending histories to reveal an uncertain future.
