The Same Sweat is Still Flowing Through the Same Pores
The film is based on years of research into a specific location — a secluded natural space connected to me through family history and memory. The need to reflect on the identity and history of the landscape, as well as on the relationships that unfold within it, is articulated through three main protagonists: the author (myself), the space itself, and the author’s aunt (the former owner of the site), with whom I exchanged letters. The film observes moments that unfold somewhere in between emergence, existence, and disappearance. Continuously vibrates between the “voices” of its actors — that which records, that which is recorded, the one who records, and the one who is marked. The reality we see and experience is repeatedly questioned through the examination and processing of the elements and interactions in which I find myself, as well as those I “artificially” construct. I follow the material transformations of the landscape, along with the transmutation and physicality of the film frames and footage. The work emphasizes human traces and interventions within these materialities and questions their coexistence.
