Join us in Prizren for two evenings of experimental cinema and live performance, where you'll encounter some of the most compelling voices challenging and reimagining the boundaries of moving image.

From Turkish filmmakers exploring memory and trauma through impressionist landscapes and coded wartime expressions, to international artists examining surveillance, digital identity, and resistance—the program culminates in GET OUT OF THERE!, a heart-pounding live audiovisual performance that documents the illegal climb of Istanbul's tallest buildings, exploring what happens when the pursuit of freedom confronts the forces that try to contain it.

PERFORMANCE: GET OUT OF THERE! (30 min) A camera strapped to a climber's head. No safety equipment. Istanbul's tallest buildings. When locals call the police instead of watching in wonder, what happens to the person left alone at the top? This audiovisual performance, accompanied by live electronic music, searches for the visual and sonic expressions of people who have not been allowed to pursue their own dreams—and their desire to stop someone who dares to.

Istanbul Experimental Weekend is organized by the Lumbardhi Foundation in collaboration with DokuFest, and Kino Armata.
