Chris Meigh-Andrews

Chris Meigh-Andrews first experimented with video in 1973 and began exhibiting his work internationally in the late 1970’s. His early single screen video works have featured in a number of key exhibitions: “Short Histories of Video Art, (Part 2)”, John Hansard Gallery, Southampton, 2004; “Electric Eyes: British Artists’ Video 1985-88”, Tate Gallery and the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA), London; Museo de Arte Moderno, Medellin, Columbia, Akademie der Bildenden Kunst, Vienna 1988; “Genlock”, Interim Arts, London, (& Touring) 1988; “Video from the 70’s and 80’s”, Doggerfisher, Edinburgh, 2008; “Analogue: Pioneering British, Canadian and Polish Artists’ Video”,(1968-88), Tate Britain, Anthology Film Archives, New York, the Foundation for Art & Creative Technology (FACT), Liverpool, Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art, (MOCCA),Toronto, Arsenal Institute fur Film und Videokunst, Berlin, and the Centre for Contemporary Art, Warsaw, 2007-08 and “The Self & Surroundings”, Dundee Contemporary Arts Centre, 2012. His early video work also features in two recent DVD collections: “Rewind and Play: An Anthology of Early British Video Art”, Lux/Rewind, (2009) and “New Contemporaries Moving Image: 1968-2010”, Bloomberg/New Contemporaries, (2014).

Kathy Smith

Kathy Smith is an Australian artist who has been working with painting, animation, installation and sound since 1982.

After graduating from Visual Communication Design at Sydney College of the Arts in 1985, she studied and worked in Europe at the Dr Denise Hickey studio residency at the Cite Internationale des Arts, Paris and under the Dyason Bequest study grant at SACI College of Art & Design, Florence, Italy; awarded by the Art Gallery of NSW, the Australia Council and The Sydney Morning Herald Traveling Art Prize.

Since 1984, Kathy's works have been screened internationally, including SIGGRAPH N-Space Art Gallery, Sundance Film Festival, New York Digital Salon, Hiroshima, Anima Mundi, GLAS and Ottawa International Animation Festivals. She has a record of achievement in research and creative work spanning thirty nine years. This includes international research residencies in France, Italy and the USA funded by the Australian Network for Art & Technology, the Australia Council and Screen Australia. Kathy has exhibited at group and solo exhibitions such as Institute of Contemporary Art, London, Conservatorio di Santa Maria degli Angeli, Florence, Italy, the Australian National Gallery, Canberra and Tamarind Art Gallery New York City, NY.

Gürcan Keltek

Born in İzmir in 1973, Gürcan Keltek studied film at Dokuz Eylül University before directing several shorts. His medium-length film Colony (2015) was screened at FIDMarseille. His first feature film, Meteorlar (2017), won more than 20 awards and was screened at many international film festivals, including Rotterdam, BAFICI, Viennale, Bordeaux, Fajr, and Hong Kong. Gulyabani (2018) premiered at Signs of Life in Locarno and was screened at Tate Modern, Reykjavik, Rotterdam, and Viennale.

Florencia Incarbone

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Florencia Incarbone is an independent editor and curator based in Paris. She holds a degree in Cinematography from the Universidad del Cine (Argentina). Her practice moves at the intersection of experimental cinema and video, exploring its aesthetic, conceptual, and sensory dimensions. Her recent projects investigate notions of disappearance, landscape, and perception—particularly in relation to specific territories.

Her curatorial practice spans museums, biennials, cultural institutions in Argentina and abroad, including the Bienal de la Imagen en Movimiento (BIM), MEACVAD, Istanbul International Film Festival, CineToro – Experimental Film Festival, CODEC/Festival Internacional de Cine Experimental y Video, among others. For BIENALSUR, she curated programs at Maison de l’Amérique Latine (Paris), FRAC Bretagne (Rennes), Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (Porto Alegre), and Sursock Museum (Beirut).

Ece Eldek

ce Eldek is a Berlin- and Istanbul-based visual artist, graphic designer, and poet whose practice spans installation, performance, publishing, and poetry. She holds a degree in Graphic Art and Design from Marmara University’s Faculty of Fine Arts in Istanbul. Her work explores the intersections between text and image, social and political experience, and the relational dynamics that shape contemporary life.
