Gail Sonnenfeld

Gail Sonnenfeld has worked in the LA film industry before returning to her native Chicago to produce and teach at Columbia College. In LA and New York she worked for Academy Award-winning production designers Eugenio Zannetti, Dick Sylbert, and Tony Walton. Companies she has worked for include Sony, HBO, PBS, MTV, and VH-1. Currently Gail produces independent features and documentaries. Gail produced the 2001 documentary, The Optimist, which won the Peace Prize at the Berlin Film Festival. She received an MFA from the AFI and MS in Historic Preservation from Columbia University, New York.

Celina Marco

She is Full Professor of Artistic Reflection, Cultural Funding, and Cultural Management at UP, UMSA, and ESEADE, and Adjunct Professor of Art Theory at UMSA. She is also a member of the DC Research Team at the Universidad de Palermo.

She has taught courses on Contemporary Art at the Museo Sívori and the postgraduate course “Interdisciplinary Cultural Management” at ADUNCE (Asociación de Docentes de la Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires).

She is currently working on the project to bring the Premio Itaú Visual Arts Collection online and serves as General Coordinator of the museum renewal plan at the Museo de la Ciudad.

Elif Akçalı

Elif Akçalı earned her PhD degree in Media Arts from Royal Holloway, University of London in 2014 with her thesis titled “Discontinuity in Narrative Cinema.” Her research interests include film style and aesthetics, film interpretation, videographic film studies and storytelling in films. Elif has taught courses in film history and style as well as theory and practice of editing. She currently teaches at Kadir Has University in Istanbul.
